Insurance & Billing
Navigating insurance coverage for psychological assessments can be complex. We are committed to transparency and helping you understand your financial options before we begin.
Insurance Coverage
We currently participate with several major insurance providers in Michigan. For Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluations, many plans require a referral from a primary care physician or pediatrician.
Accepted Networks:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)
- Blue Care Network
* Please note that coverage varies by specific plan. We highly recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card to verify your "behavioral health" or "psychological testing" benefits.
Out-of-Network & Private Pay
If we are not in-network with your insurance, or if you prefer not to use insurance to maintain privacy, we offer self-pay rates.
Superbills for Reimbursement
We can provide you with a "Superbill" (a detailed medical receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company. Many PPO plans have out-of-network benefits that may reimburse you for a significant portion of the assessment cost.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the law (No Surprises Act), health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
We will provide a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your scheduled service. You can also ask us for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
